After more than ten years in Abu Dhabi, GFTeam black belt and international competitor Igor Silva partnered with longtime friend and entrepreneur Leonardo Mata to transform a shared vision into reality.

In 2026, that vision became the first official GFTeam academy in Abu Dhabi—a place where the spirit of Rio de Janeiro meets the ambition and diversity of Abu Dhabi.
